libappconfig-perl software package provides Perl module for configuration file and command line handling, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libappconfig-perl
libappconfig-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libappconfig-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libappconfig-perl *
You will get with libappconfig-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
